For the summer of 2013, Sandman Hotel Group invited their guests to win 1 of 4 Sandman beds. The promotion was designed to attract guests with the participation of Sandman’s social media sites. Every guest who booked the ‘Get In Bed’ rate was entered to win a top-of-the line pillow top Serta Signature mattress complete with bed sheets, duvet, and pillows courtesy of Eden Textile.
In conjunction to the grand prize, Sandman also introduced an interactive component with an online ‘Count the ‘Sheep’ contest and ‘Serta Sheep Plushie Prize’. This contest was to engage future guests by counting how many Serta Sheeps were hiding in the Sandman website. After, the guest must forward their answer to the Sandman’s Facebook page for a chance to win a Serta Sheep Plushie or one complimentary night stay at any Sandman location.
To support this campaign, a variety of print collateral and web assets were created such as counter displays, email newsletters, Facebook contest graphics, and email signatures.
